What does an airport internship involve?+
An airport internship places you inside live airport operations at one of 67+ Indian airports. You work supervised shifts across roles such as passenger services, airport operations, lounge & hospitality, and baggage & ramp support — gaining real, hands-on experience rather than classroom theory.
Is the airport internship paid?+
Yes, internships are paid where provided by the host organisation, and eligible students may also receive a monthly stipend under the PM Internship Scheme. You also receive an EWS-certified completion certificate.
How long is the airport internship and where will I be placed?+
The programme runs for 3 or 6 months. You are placed at one of 67+ partner airports across India — including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Bhopal and Indore — based on availability at the start of your batch and your stated city preferences.
Who can apply for an airport internship?+
