You need one document to apply for an airport internship through InternAVIA: your CV. Identity documents are asked for later, only after a placement is confirmed, and only the ones your airport pass actually needs. This guide explains what is asked for, when, and how to keep your documents safe.
At Application: Your CV Only
When you sign up and apply, InternAVIA asks for your CV and nothing else. You do not need to upload an Aadhaar card, PAN card, photograph or medical certificate to apply, and none of them is needed for your application to be reviewed.
Format: PDF or Word, up to 5 MB, uploaded from your student dashboard.
After a Placement Is Confirmed
Airports are security-sensitive places, and everyone who works in certain areas needs an airport pass. Once your placement is confirmed, our team tells you exactly which documents your airport pass needs. The list depends on the airport, so wait to be told rather than preparing everything in advance.
Documents an airport pass commonly needs include:
- A government photo identity document
- Recent passport-size photographs
- Your college ID or a bonafide certificate, if you are a student
- At some airports, a police verification certificate. This can take the longest, so apply as soon as you are told it is needed.
Bank account details are needed only if your offer letter includes a stipend, and are asked for when you accept the offer.
Keep Your Documents Safe
- Share documents only through your InternAVIA dashboard, and only after our team has asked for them against a confirmed placement.
- Never send identity documents to anyone who contacts you by phone, WhatsApp or social media claiming to be from InternAVIA.
- If you share an Aadhaar copy, use a masked Aadhaar, which shows only the last four digits. You can download one from the official UIDAI website.
- If someone asks you for documents or money outside your dashboard, report it at internavia.ews.aero/report.
