Assist passengers with reduced mobility, medical needs and unaccompanied minors.

10th/12th pass; freshers welcome Rotational shifts

You will create an account and attach your CV. Free to apply; placement professional fees of ₹5,000 (incl. GST) apply only if you are selected.

No live seat is open for this role today. Registering puts you on our screened Placement Desk bench, and our HR team contacts you when a matching requirement opens at the airport you pick. Roles with a seat open right now are under live placements.

Special handling covers the passengers who need more than the standard journey — travellers with reduced mobility, wheelchair users, passengers with visual or hearing impairment, unaccompanied minors, expectant mothers and those travelling with medical equipment.

India’s DGCA CAR Section 3 Series M Part I sets out what a passenger with a disability is entitled to, and this role is how an airport actually delivers it. It is careful, patient, physically active work, and it is one of the few airport roles where doing it well visibly changes someone’s day.

What you’ll do

  • Receive and assist passengers with reduced mobility from arrival at the terminal to the aircraft seat
  • Operate wheelchairs, ambulifts and mobility equipment safely and correctly
  • Escort unaccompanied minors end to end and complete the handover documentation
  • Support passengers with visual, hearing or cognitive impairment through every checkpoint
  • Coordinate with airline, security and immigration on special-assistance clearances
  • Handle medical equipment, oxygen and stretcher cases per the carrier’s procedure
  • Assist during boarding and disembarkation, including priority and last-off sequencing
  • Deliver the passenger’s own wheelchair or mobility aid back at the aircraft door or reclaim
  • Record every assistance request and its outcome accurately
  • Treat every passenger with dignity — the standard, not a nice-to-have

What we’re looking for

  • 10th or 12th pass; freshers welcome and trained on the job
  • Genuine patience and empathy — the single most important requirement
  • Physically fit: this role involves lifting, pushing and supporting passengers
  • Clear communication in English and the local language; sign language is an asset
  • Reliable and punctual — a missed assist means a missed flight
  • Comfortable following medical and safety protocol exactly as written

Clearances and training

Airport work is regulated. These apply to this role, and we tell you before you start — never after. Where training is employer-arranged, we say so.

  • Airport Entry Permit (AEP) after police verification
  • BCAS-approved AVSEC awareness training
  • Disability-assistance training per DGCA CAR Section 3 Series M Part I
  • Ambulift and mobility-equipment certification where the station requires it
  • Basic first-aid awareness, arranged through the employer

Shift reality: Rotational shifts across the full operating day, including night arrivals.

Where we recruit for this

Pick the airport you can realistically travel to every day — shift rosters start before dawn and end after midnight, so the commute decides more than people expect.
