What a Ramp Agent does

Airside, on the apron, in all weather and across shift patterns — a physical, safety-critical, team-based operational role.

  • Marshalling and guiding aircraft on and off stand under supervision.
  • Loading and unloading baggage, cargo and mail to schedule.
  • Operating and positioning ground support equipment safely around the aircraft.
  • Following ramp-safety and FOD (foreign object debris) discipline at all times.
  • Supporting the on-time turnaround alongside the ground-handling team.
