What you'll do during your airport internship
This is not a classroom programme. You work on the terminal floor with a senior manager supervisor.
Passenger meet & assist
Welcome arriving and departing passengers at the terminal. Handle VIP, business-class, and specially-abled passengers.
Baggage and check-in support
Assist at check-in counters, baggage drop, and reclaim areas. Learn CUTE and BRS systems.
Terminal operations
Gate coordination, boarding announcements, flight delay management, and AODB screen operations.
Ground handling observation
Airside escort passes (subject to clearance) — observe ramp operations, cargo loading, and aircraft turnaround.
Customer service escalations
Handle passenger complaints, lost-and-found, and denied boarding with airport managers.
Daily reporting & KPIs
Submit end-of-shift reports. Understand airport SLAs, KPIs, and performance tracking.

Who can apply for an airport internship in India?
Students pursuing BBA Aviation, B.Sc Aviation, MBA, BCA, B.Tech, or any management programme. Final-year students and recent graduates are also eligible. No prior aviation experience required.
Is the airport internship paid?
InternAVIA offers a structured participation-based internship. Walk-in students pay a one-time participation fee of ₹15,000 (3 months) or ₹30,000 (6 months). Students joining through a university MOU pay nothing — the university handles the arrangement.

We have active placements across 13 Indian airports including Indira Gandhi International (DEL), Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International (BOM), Kempegowda International (BLR), Rajiv Gandhi International (HYD), and more. Airport is assigned based on your location preference and availability.
What does the internship certificate cover?
The certificate is issued by Elite World Services Limited (EWS) and covers airport terminal operations, passenger handling, meet & greet services, and ground operations — skills verified by senior airport managers.
How do I apply?
